On 19 April 2023, we have informed you that the CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber made from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 for 20 x 10 cm plates (022.5260) will replace the Twin Trough Chambers for manual development.
Due to a force majeure problem at our supplier’s side, we are forced to reintroduce the below mentioned discontinued Twin Trough Chambers for manual development into our portfolio until further notice:
The corresponding prices will remain the same as mentioned in the initial price list 2023.
Newly ordered CAMAG® ADC 2 are currently not affected by this change and will still be equipped with the CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber made from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 for 20 x 10 cm plates (022.5260) currently on stock at CAMAG. In case a customer needs a replacement for his CAMAG® ADC 2 from S/N 290200 on, or older instruments – which have already been equipped with the upgrade kit 022.8365 – the DURAN chamber is available for such cases.
Reminder: Customers using the CAMAG® ADC 2 before S/N 290200 and which have not been upgraded yet using the upgrade kit 022.8365, cannot use the reintroduced Twin Trough Chamber, but must order the upgrade kit 022.8365 (022.5260 included).
For manual development with the reintroduced Twin Trough Chambers, please offer the 20 x 20 cm cut-to-fit saturation pads for all chamber sizes (022.5244) only.

visionCATS licensing tool update
Due to an upcoming update, the visionCATS licensing tool softwareactivation.camag.com will not be available from 5 May 2023, 15:00h to 8 May 2023, 8:00h (CEST).
With this update, the licensing tool will come up with a new design and improved usability. Additionally, the update also adds a useful backdoor functionality, enabling to provide convenient support in case the customer lost the visionCATS login credentials: simply access the respective license and press the “Backdoor” button, creating a file, which has to be sent to the customer. After double-clicking the file icon at the client’s computer, visionCATS will start and the user can change the respective settings.

As already informed in May 2022, the Twin Trough Chamber for the ADC 2 (022.5261) was replaced by the new CAMAG® Twin Trough Chamber made from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 for 20 x 10 cm plates (022.5260). This new chamber shows significant improvement of the front detection.
To streamline the product portfolio, the new chamber (022.5260) will also replace the Twin Trough Chambers for manual development. With this, the following part numbers are discontinued as of 19 April 2023.

This new release features the following important updates for the HPTLC PRO Module DEVELOPMENT:
We highly recommend that customers, who are using the HPTLC PRO Module DEVELOPMENT, update to the latest version visionCATS 3.2 SP2 (3.2.23088.2).
Customers, who are not yet using the HPTLC PRO Modules, do not profit from this update, and do not have to upgrade, if they would need to re-qualify their system for it. However, whoever starts to work with our HPTLC PRO needs this SP2 version. The next major upgrade will be the version 4.0 anticipated to be launched later this year.
